For not attending to repairs to the school gate , the child was asked to be removed from school

A certain grandfather had promised to repair the main gate of the school after his grand daughter ( son's daughter) was admitted to Mihintale Pathiraja Tennakoon Junior school.Owing to financial constraints the grand father had not
been able to complete the task undertaken. The lady Principal had requested the girl's father to remove her from the school after scolding the  girl's mother.

The grand mother of the child had complained this matter to the police station Mihintale. on the morning of the 03rd instant..
.
The grand mother had said that her son had been educated in the Padaviya area. For them to admit the grand daughter to this school  the Principal had wanted the dilapidated main gate  to be replaced by a new gate in return for the favour. After promising to admit the child the Principal had entered the girl to the school.

As promised the grand father had been unable to complete the the task .The Principal had asked to remove the child from the school at the beginning of term three.
When the Principal was contacted over the phone she had denied the allegation saying that she had never asked help from any parents to repair the gate. The gate is replaced or repaired by the school's development society. She had accused the grandparents of the girl as they had volunteered to replace the gate to invoke blessings for the dead children. This child falls ill very often. There is no one to inform. The Principal had said to draw attention to the child. If they cannot she had asked them to remove the child from school. In this connection the education authorities and the academic staff of the school know about this case.
