Cars of Ajith-SM deputy Inspector general's of police collide

Along the Keppetipola Mawatha Colombo 5  close to the quarters of police officers two cars had collided this morning.

The significant feature of this accident was that the cars belonged two deputy Inspectors of

police.They were  of the Chief security chief of the President's security unit SM Wickremasinghe and the deputy Inspector general of Police Ajith Rohana.

Police reports reveal that after colliding the cars had crashed onto a tree causing heavy damages to both vehicles. It is learnt that the DIG SM Wickremasinghe had traveled to USA with the President, while DIG Ajith Rohana had gone in another vehicle for another matter.

After this accident the police had taken steps to close the road on both sides.
