Because of the dirty preferential votes system we lost Bharatha and Duminda-Shantha Bandara

The former UPFA Member of Parliament Shantha Bandara had stated that we lost both  Baratha Lakshman Premachandra and Duminda Silva owing to the dirty and stupid preferential

votes system,

Shantha Bandara had added this while speaking at a media briefing at the headquarters of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party on then 09th instant.This loss could be regarded as a huge loss to the party.

Reiterating further he had said that even now this preferential voting system should be changed  and the electoral system should be commenced.Hence he had appealed to all  constituents to remain patient until the new system is properly implemented.

In this regard all political parties had consented to this change and there are 17 shortcomings to be sorted out  and finalized and hence he had requested all constituents to remain patient until the new system is implemented.
