All students in above Grade 9 to get "Tabs"

The Minister of telecommunication and digital infrastructure Harin Fernando is to make some  revolutionary changes in the digital field in the next few months  by giving them 'tabs' which would facilitate all students to view the books when

studying..

Plans is is learnt have been drawn i this regard with discussions with Microsoft institution have been held by the Minister.

In this regard all students above 14 years would be given tabs with keyboards and data to search their text books. In January next year all students will receive this benefit while 5000 students would be benefited this year.

It is also reported  that STM cards would be introduced with citizenship data, across which the benefits of the digital system would be gained.The Minister had said that through this digital system one could even get his passport delivered to his home via the  courtesy of the mobile telephone.
