Two taken into police custody for forcing a Monk to pose for video photos

The Police authorities of Galnewa Police station has taken into custody on the 24th instant two persons who had intoxicated a Buddhist Monk living in a temple in the Galnewa area and obtained video clips taking part in sexual activities for a

ransom of ten lakhs twenty five thousand rupees.

These two persons had come to the temple about a month ago had made the Buddhist Monk intoxicated and got another person to take video photos while the Monk was forced to take part in sexual activities.After obtaining the obscene video photos they had blackmailed the Buddhist Monk and obtained a sum of one lakh twenty five thousand rupees. These two persons had on two previous occasions had obtained nine lakhs of rupees from the Buddhist Monk.

On the 23rd of this month the two persons had demanded another seven lakhs of rupees.The Buddhist Monk as he had no other alternative had complained to the Galnewa Police.The officers of the Galnewa Police had arrested the two persons also from the Galnewa area.There are to be produced before courts on the 25th instant.

The Police officers of the Galnewa Police station are making further investigations.
