In the 2nd One Day International between the touring Australians and Sri Lanka played at the R.Premadasa International cricket stadium in Colombo Sri Lanka beta the Australia by 86 runs

to draw level the 5 match ODI series.

Sri Lanka who won the toss and elected to bat amasses 288 runs in 48.5 overs.In reply the Australians could amass only 206 runs.Amila Aponso captured four wickets while Thissara Perrea captured three wickets.

In the Sri Lanka innings Kusal Mendis scored 69 runs,Angelow Mathews scored 57 runs,Kusal Perera 54 runs and Dinesh Chandimal 48 runs.

The five match ODI series now stands at 1-1 .The third ODI is to be played at the Pallekelle international cricket stadium on Sunday.
