Administrative officers to be trained in Singapore soon
In an endeavour to make the administrative officers in the Sri Lanka administrative services more efficient and productive when discharging their duties it is reported that a training programme for
them is to be offered in Singapore shortly.
In the Asian region Singapore has recorded a high standard in administration activities. In this regard Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe has arranged during his tour with the authorities of the Singapore civil services college to commence a training programme for our administrative officers.
On the 19th instant during the tour of Singapore Ranil Wickremasinghe had paid a visit to the civil services college in Singapore when this decision was taken in consultation with the related authorities. Accordingly a link between the Sri Lanka development administrative institution and the civil services college would be formed .In the near future the opportunity to have our administrative trained in Singapore would become a reality.
It is also reported that in the past year about 3000 administrative officers from foreign countries have been trained at the civil services college in Singapore.
