Dialog Axiata Company had opened a maritime fibre wire coordinating tower at No11  Soysa Mawatha Mt Lavinia under the auspices of President Maithripala Sirisena on the 30th instant. This is in order to boost the speed of the
internet to 6.4 terabytes which would be a huge advantage for internet users from all internet providers in the country.

This BBG maritime system would enable to increase the speed of the internet to greater heights. This would help all 3G and ADSL users to enhance the internet speed up to 6.4 terabytes. This would help to expand the internet services of the country.

This speedy internet service would not only benefit Dialog but all other internet provider companies. In this context all commercial users and individual users of internet could get this fast internet service from Dialog Axiata.

For this huge venture the Dialog Axiata had spent a massive sum of rupees five billion.

For this opening apart from President, the Minister of telecommunications and digital infrastructure Harin Fernando,the Chief Executive officer of the Dialog group of Companies Dr Hans Wijesuriya and the chairman of the Dialog Datuk  Azat Kamaludeen and several distinguished  invitees were present.
