Roads in Colombo under water -Traffic, Traffic

Owing to heavy rain fall from last night to this morning which had recorded the second highest rain fall figures the roads in Colombo had been under water.

It is reported that the road from Hokandara to Thalawathugoda junction also had been under water

cuasing a terrible inconvenience to motorists.

The roads affected had been Borella, Rajagiriya, Pelawatta and Battaramulla and all by lanes in these areas.Hence there had been traffic jams.In Kolonnawa, Wellampitiya and Kotikawatta the situation had been the same.

It is also reported that the trains along Kelaniya and Puttalam railway lines the trains had been delayed.
