Manawadu an enemy of  Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka hospitalized

It has been reported that one time enemy of Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka, Major General Sumith Manawadu has been hospitalized for treatment of

an injury.

When he was at the Delkanda at a building site a plank had fallen on to his head which had caused severe injuries. During the era of Mahinda Rajapaksa he had served as the Sri Lankan ambassador to Malaysia.

It is reported thatMajor Genral Sumith Manawadu is a political opponent of Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka. After Sarath Fonseka lost the presidential election to former president Mahinda Rajapaksa it has to be recalled it was Major General Manawadu who had led the team to arrest him.Manawadu had been known to be a political enemy of Sarath Fonseka.

Hospital sources had revealed that an operation had been made to Manawadu's head.
