The Pakistan team who were unable to go ahead in the World Cup Tournament being defeated in the first round itself were on their way back to Pakistan today and they were treated with hoots as well as

verbal assaults mixed with displeasure at both Karachi and Lahore airports, it is reported.

Criticisms were aimed saying that the defeated team in the tournament lacked proper training and the team captain Sahid Afridi too was subjected to blame. Whatever it is, when they were returning home Afridi has not gone home. He had mentioned that he would be taking a rest in Dubai for a few days. The Pakistan Police had provided strong security at the time the team had to encounter unpleasant responses at the airport and the team has had to go to their houses amidst tight security, it is reported.
