The government murdered Sobitha Thera as he became an opponent - Uduwe Thera

Venerable Uduwe Dhammaloka thera when participating in the case for keeping a baby elephant in his possession illegally had accused the  government for suppressing Buddhist monks in this country.

At that instance the Thera had said that Ven.Sobitha Thera did not pass away but was murdered by
the government as he became an opponent of the government.Uduwe Dammaloka Thera had said further that after the death of Sobitha thera an investigation into the cause of death was even not held.
