CID commences investigations into Sobitha Thera's death

The criminal investigations department had commenced investigations into the death of Venerable Maduluwawe Sobitha

thera yesterday the 23rd instant.

A high official of the police department had quipped that Venerable Uduwe Dhammaloka Thera and a number of others had suspected foul play into the death of Maduluwawe Sobitha Thera and hence this investigation had commenced by the CID.

The investigations had commenced after the officials of the Pivithuru Hetak organisation, the just society movement had made a pleas to the President,Prime Minister and the Inspector General of Police.

It is reported that very soon Venerable Uduwe Dhammaloka Thera and officials of many organizations would be quizzed by the CID.
