Thurstan College Principal Abeyratne to Royal's big chair 

The Principal of Thurstan College BA Abeyratne has been appointed as the Principal of Royal College and he had commenced work yesterday the 14th instant.

The Principal of Royal College Upali Gunasekera had been transferred to the Ministry of Education for alleged irregularities surfaced when admitting students to Royal college. Until the investigations are over he has not been allowed to be in Principal's activities.

BA.Abeyratne has previously served as the Principal of Ananda College.
