Price of gold to reduce by Rs 5000/-

The tax imposed on import of jewellery has been reduced by 7.5% from the budget proposals 2016.Hence the prices of gold would be reduced  this year was the view of the Manager of the National Jewellery authority Sirichandra Edirisinghe.

Accordingly the prices of gold would reduce by a sum of Rs 4000/- to Rs 5000/- this year.
