Another court case that ....
Hirunika had acquired a house at Summit Flat!
Amidst the hulabaloo realating to the court case that supporters of MP Hirunika Premachandra had abducted an individual, another court case
was filed today against her. It was about an issue of illegal occupation of a building.
The plaintiffs in this case are the owners of that house situated at Jawatta Road, Colombo 5 to the effect that Hirunika and her mother are forcibly occupying it. Colombo District Court which enquired into the matter issued a warrant to Hirunika fixing the hearing of the case on March 29th.
According to the complaint lodged by the two resident parties Rohan Wickrama and Ruwan Wijesekera, Hirunika Premachandra and her mother Sumana Premachandra have taken illegal possession of a certain building situated at Summit Flats down Jawatta Road, Colombo 5 by force. Though Hirunika has taken it on lease saying it is for the purpose of using it as a Party office, even after the date the lease expired last February, she had not vacated the said building and instead had shown a deaf ear to their plea and thus Hirunika keeps on maintaining it for herself, the plaintiffs explained matters to courts. The complainants have made a request from courts to take action for the building to be handed over to them.
