Workers of Water Supply & Drainage Board end strike, win all demands 

The main union of the National water supply & drainage board has notified that the trade union action commenced by all affiliated unions of the water supply &drainage board have been

withdrawn as all their demands have been given by the authorities.

The union had protested that the week end work had been withdrawn  and the workers bonus has been pruned.These demands have now been given by the authorities.

The Chairman of the National water supply & drainage board KA Ansar had quipped that out of the bonus of Rs 37500/- requested Rs 25000/ had already been paid and the balance Rs12.500/- would be paid very shortly.
