Ranil orders to submit a report on Lion Wally's death

The Lion by name 'Wally' which had been brought from abroad and given to the  Ambalantota Ruhunu Ridigama  newly constructed 'Sari' park had died suddenly. The Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe has called for a detailed report  from the related authorities explaining the reasons for the sudden death of   Lion 'Sari'.

In addition to this report the Prime Minister had called for the report on the post mortem and the  views of the animal cruelty organisation in this connection.

The Lion had been imported from South Korea on the 04th instant and is  five and a half feet in length is termed a 'Kesara Sinhaya'
