Do not make it an issue of my becoming a Majira-Yasara replies

There had been some comments in certain websites that the name of Yasara Abeynayake had been changed to Yasara Majira in her Face Book page. Drawing attention to these remarks Yasara Abeynayake  who got married recently

had replied to the website owners in Sinhala as well as in English slamming them. The translation of the Sinhala version she had added to her Face Book page is as follows:

She had said that needs to address all in Sri Lanka. As all facts that happen in her life needs to be  known by many. This she needs to tell that people who are worried in knowing personal things in her life.

She had said that she is a Sinhalese but not a Buddhist. She is a Sinhalese and religion is catholic. She wants to tell everyone that Muslim religion and Catholic religion are more or less the same.She wants to remind all people who are not aware of it. She had admitted that she got married to a Muslim lad. She had got the consent and blessings of both her parents as well as her Muslim husband who also got the consent and blessings of his parents.

She had added that although she got married to a Muslim lad, she would remain a staunch Sinhalese, Govigama  catholic individual in her married life.She had been a patriotic person always and would remain so. However she cannot understand why people become extremists.

She had said her Muslim husband has brought a huge amount of credit to motherland much more than anyone would think.He had been the skipper of the Sri Lanka rugger team and had brought laurels to the country by building up a good team. Sri Lanka has been placed at 3rd place in the whole of Asia. Some Asian countries even hesitate to play against Sri Lanka because of the formidable team. However Rugby players are not paid as in some other sports she had quipped.

She had added that she does not think as her husband as only a Muslim lad. He possess very good qualities, he is honest and is a wonderful human being with humane qualities. As for her husband's religion it is not any bother to her. She believes that she had taken the most correct decision in her life in consenting to marry him.

She had said people need not bother and spend time to find what she does. People should try to solve their own problems  which bother everyone than wasting time on what she does.She had blamed those people whom she does not know and she had never met are making remarks at the two of them.She had advised them to look after their own matters and not to spend time to find out what the two of them are doing.
