The birthday of tele-actress Ruwangi Ratnayaka who brought on a sensation on her ownself because of a dress recently, fell yesterday. In order to involve herself she held an alms-giving pinkama for several samaneras of a vihara in Anamaduwa adjoining her hometown on behalf of her birthday. Nadeesha Menaka and some of her colleagues including her fiance had attended the event, it was reported. For the pinkama she was adorned in a saree.
