Uva Chief Minister Charmara allowed bail

The Chief Minister of Uva province Charmara Sampath Dasaanayake was alleged to have threatened and assaulted a Passara provincial council Member of the United National Party,Rukman Gamini Rajapaksa had been served with summons.

He had surrendered to the Passara Magistrate courts yesterday the 01st instant.The Chief Magistrate Ruwandika Marasinghe has ordered the suspect Chief Minister Charmara sampath Dasanayake to appear before the Passara courts on the 28th January when the case is to be heard.

In the meantime the suspect has been given bail on the production of rupees one lakh body surety the Chief Magistrate Ruwandika Marasinghe had ordered..
