From Kiriella's ministry the name of University scrapped

From the ministry of Minister Lakshman Kiriella named University education and Highways  the name of University education has been

scrapped and renamed as ministry of Higher Education and Highways.

It is also learnt that the Sri Lanka information technology and all the affiliated units to it which hitherto was under the Minister Mahinda Samarasinghe who is in charge of skills development and vocational training would come under the purview of the Minister Lakshman Kiriella's ministry of Higher Education and Highways.
