The Identity card office and the passport office to one location

The secretariat office under  the purview of which the department of registration of persons and the department of immigration and emigration come under are to be shifted to a new location at

Battaramulla Polduwa junction where a new 30 floor building has been completed. In this connection the related ministry has forwarded a paper for cabinet approval.

On obtaining approval these two departments, the registration of persons, the department of Immigration and emigration and the office of the intelligence services would be shifted to this new location at Polduwa junction in Battaramulla.
