The entire Island sans power last night

Last night owing to sudden electricity breakdown at 11 55 pm the whole country had been in total darkness.The people of the country had been terribly inconvenienced.

The Ceylon Electricity Board had not given any acceptable reason for this power break down it is reported.

However the authorities of the Ceylon Electricity Board had been able to restore the power within 2 to 3 hours. However until dawn there had been various places and the electricity had been restored in area by area.
