Nandamithra Ekanayake's wife expires 

The wife of former Minister Nandamithra Ekanayake's wife Sujatha Ekanayake 64 years old has expired.During the 100 day programme

of the earlier government Nandamithra Ekanayake left Mahinda Rajapaksa's government and supported the common candidate Maithripala Sirisena.

However he was not elected when he contested for the Matale district under the SLFP ticket He not only lost his seat but was not given an opportunity from the National list also.

During the recent period the members of his family had been in dire frustration it is reported.Deceased Sujatha Ekanayake is the sister of the Chief Minister Central Province, Sarath Ekanayake.Her son Chinthana Ekanayake is a member of the central province provincial council.

The funeral is due to take place on the 21st instant.
