Dimo's son gets a deputy Minister post

Dimo's son appointed a deputy Minister as he entered parliament for the first time

Today the swearing in of the new deputy Ministers were made at the presidential secretariat. The Members of Parliament who were appointed as deputy Ministers were absent at the swearing in ceremony.

After the rest of the deputy Ministers appointed were sworn in their good names were read out  with the portfolios of their respective deputy Minister posts.

Among them was Anuradha Jayaratne a novice to the parliament is the son of former Prime Minister D.M.Jayaratne. Anuradha Jayaratne is 29 years old and had commenced his political career when he contested for the central province in the 2013 provincial council elections and was elected to the Central Province, provincial council.

It is the first time he had contested in the general election 2015 also from Kandy district.He was entrusted the portfolio of as the deputy Minister of Mahaweli development. Unfortunately he was absent at his maiden swear in ceremony.
