A CCTV video of the bus-bus-Defender accident which brought death to 5 members of the President Security Division this morning has been supplied from a house close to where the accident took

place.The manner in which the Defender raised through and on trying to overtake a bus and when it was about to collide with the other bus it had tried to swerve to the left when the collision was imminent to take place face to face and how the Defender gets smashed after getting trapped right in the middle could all be observed in the video.

The middle part of the Defender as well as the rear part is smashed between the two buses and in order to avoid this damage the former bus swerves from the left towards the jungle area; however there had been not enough space or room there to avoid the head-on collision totally, as such. In that instance a downpour of rain was noticed and therefore vehicles were driven with the aid of wipers. As observed, the Defender had tried to resort to an unnecessary action of overtaking, thereby causing this accident.

As a result of the accident 4 individuals died by afternoon while another passed away towards evening. The video, from below
