Court orders Thajudeen’s body to be exhumed on Monday the 10 th

The courts haa given permission to exhume the body of the Havelocks  Rugby captain Mohamed Wasim Thajudeen who was supposed to have been burnt
to death inside his car and was hurriedly buried at the Muslim burial grounds im May in the year 2013 on the 10th of May 2015 at 7 a.m in the morning.

This order had been given by the additional Colombo Magistrate Nishantha Pieris.The officials of the criminal investigation unit had made request to the additional Colombo Magistrate in this regard in order to make another post mortem.

After the body is exhumed another post mortem is to be conducted by the chief judiciary medical officer Doctor Ajith Tennakoon and the Additional Judiciary medical officer of the additional judiciary medical office additional judiciary medical officer Doctor  S.P.A Hewage and his medical team.

On the 17th May 2013 the body of Mohamed Wasim Thajudeen was found mysteriously burnt and dead inside his vehicle near the Shalika grounds along Park Raod,Colombo5.

As this death has been suspected to have been masterminded by a strong politician’s son the place where the body was buried has been given police guard from the 31st July 2015 by the police personnel attached to the police station Dehiwala as there could be interference into the proposed investigations.
