A small bomb explodes inside a stationery train in Chilaw

On the 06th instant an incident of a small bomb that had exploded inside a stationery train is

reported from the Chilaw railway station .

A train had been parked just outside the railway station in Chilaw last afternoon.A cleaner who was doing routine cleaning of the parked train had sen a small parcel.To see what it was he had tried to open this parcel when it had exploded causing slight injuries to him.

A security officer who had come to the scene had identified it as a small locally manufactured bomb placed in the train to cause some commotion.
