PRESIDENTIAL DEPUTY MEDIA DIRECTOR GENERAL RESIGNS AS MAHINDA RETURNS 

It is reported that Sunil Jayasekara, Deputy Director General of presidential media unit has stated that

he has decided to resign objecting the decision taken to give nomination to Mahinda Rajapaksa.

“62 +lakhs of people who helped Maithripala Sirisena to be the president had expected for a new political culture. Thereby what was to defeat was the political culture and not the person Mahinda Rajapaksa. If  Maithripala Sirisena is dealing with such people, I cannot be in this position further” the deputy  director general of the presidential media unit he has stated to a week end newspaper.
