It is reported that the president Maithripala Sirisena has

stated in Godagama, Matara today that he will not allow to reverse the silent revolution made on the 08th January by defeating the Rajapaksa regime.

He had said this at the laying down ceremony of the foundation stone for the  Matara – Hambantota section of the Southern Express Highway continuation project.

“ I am not a person who came to the politics suddenly.  I have got vast experience of around 49 years.  When taking decisions in the party, I will not allow damaging the change which happened to occur after the January 08th.  I will protect it” he added.
