Fonseka from Colombo and Anoma fromGampaha

FONSEKA CONTESTS FOR COLOMBO WHILE ANOMA CONTESTS FOR GAMPAHA 

It is reported that the leader of democratic party Field Marshal Sarath fonseka is contesting for the general election from Colombo district while his wife Anoma Fonseka is contesting from Gampaha district.

 This is the first time that Anoma Fonseka is contesting for any form of an election.  She is the president of Ranaviru Seva authority and hence she is a popular social figure and is capable of drawing many votes and should be a force to be reckoned with.
