CHANDRIKA LEAVES FOR ENGLAND
It is reported that the former president Chandrika
Kumaranathuga has left for England.
The media reported last week, among the conflict situation between the SLFP and UPFA, the former president Chandrika Kumaratunga gave the leadership to one party and participated in discussions as well as the parties arranged to celebrate her birthday.
The political information reveals that the reason for her leaving country is because Maithri’s decision to give nomination to Mahinda Rajapaksa the former president. Further, her attempt to stop giving nomination to Mahinda was also unsuccessful.
Under this circumstances, it is believed that she has gone back to London residency due to been disgusted.
But, her spokesmen state that she has left to participate in preplanned family function.
