Radio announcer Sugath dies in a motor mishap

The announcer of the Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation Sugath Weerasinghe had died in a

motor accident last night. After completion of work late last evening the 1st instant had driven his own three wheeler. He was returning to his home in Parakaduwa when the three wheeler had collided with a Dimo Batta lorry at Nawagamuwa.It is learnt that he had succumbed to his injuries on the spot.

Sugath Weerasinghe  was 32 years old at the time of his death and is a father of three children.
