Girl disguised as a boy remanded for abducting and making love to an under aged girl:

The police officers of Katana police station has

taken into custody a 25 year old girl who had got disguised herself as a boy had made love to an under aged girl just 15 years old and had abducted her who was in the custody of her parents.

The girl who was taken into custody is a resident of Damindagahawatta area and her name is Asankaa Niroshini.

She had been a girl who always liked to be behaving like a boy and had been in a hostel by the name Asanka as a boy. It is learnt that for some time she had been dressing boy clothing. They also had thought she was a boy.

She had worked as a boy in the role of a helper to a ‘masonry bass’ in the construction field.He had lately gone to work in a building site in the same capacity to Nagollagama Palugaswewa area. It was then Asanka had got friendly with this 15 year old under aged girl also acting as a boy.

It was then Asanka had made love to this under aged girl with a view to marrying her.Asanka had without knowledge  of her parents abducted the under aged girl and had brought her to the hostel.

The parents of the under aged girl had made a complaint about her and Asanka to the Mahawa police. The Mahawa police authorities through the Katana police authorities had taken the suspects into custody and produced him to the Negombo magistrate.

On the orders of the Negombo magistrate the two suspects were handed over to the Chief judiciary medical officer of the district hospital Negombo for medical investigations. During the investigations it had been revealed that Asanka who was behaving as a boy is really a girl 25 years old. The Negombo magistrate has ordered the suspects to be handed over to the Mahawa magistrate for further action.
