Never made pleas for positions - Mahinda

Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa had attended to a religious ceremony at the

‘Seenigama’ devalaya in Hikkaduwa yesterday, the 10th instant.

Addressing the media Mahinda Rajapaksa had added that he never sought for positions from anyone and he would not do so either. Positions are sought by the majority people.

He also had quipped that these people say that he has in four overseas countries bank deposits to the value of 18 billion dollars. These are all blatant lies. Mangala Samaraweera is slinging mud at him. If they could they could bring the money and construct a big building at the ‘Seenigama’ devalaya and offer it to gods.The former President had challenged these blatant lies. Those responsible would be punished by the gods above he had also quipped.
