Nude photos of both in both their mobile phones

A female clerk from Kalutara area had taken a loan amounting to lakhs of rupees from a person

alleged to be her illicit lover and when he later came to know that she had made friends with another young man he had been cross with her after which he had asked the money back and when she had refused to return same he had brought the issue to courts.

Since this transaction was carried out on a verbal basis of faith, as there was no documentary proof available, what the illicit lover told the judge was that there are nude photos of hers in the mobile phone belonging to him and thus to consider proof of the illicit affair.  On that occasion the mobile phone of the girl too came under inspection by the police when it was found that her mobile phone too contained his naked photos.

This clerk who is supposed to be attached to a prominent secretarial office in the medical transport division in Kalutara had been the paramour of a leading politician in the area, it is learned. It is also reported that she was well known as someone who had been separated in her marriage and was associating others for the sake of fun. After she had secured this job with the support of the said politician, she had made friends with the driver of the CTB bus in which she had been travelling daily. It is this illicit lover who has gone to courts in this case. She who is supposed to have frequented guest houses from time to time and stayed as husband and wife had asked for money from him and he had thus given her lakhs of rupees which he had in turn asked from another.

In the meantime she had got close to another a few months ago forgetting him. This driver who got cross over this matter had dismissed all connections with her and had pestered her asking back the loan given. But what she had said was that since the two of them had been with each other in intimacy for sometime and that there should be a payment in lieu of that to consider that money as a compensation for it. The driver-lover who lost his temper over this talk then proceeded to file action against her saying that she had cheated him for lakhs of money. But on courts inquiring the factors which could prove this transaction, he had responded saying that though there is no evidence in the form of documents; to arrive at a decision by checking the photographs taken from the mobile phone during the period they were having the affair. In that instance the police took steps to check the mobile phone of this clerk too when they found that nude photos were to be seen in the phones of both of them.

As such, Matugama Additional Magistrate, Mrs. Tharanga Mahawatta ordered the Child and Women's Authority of Kalutara Division to direct the nude photos available in both these phones to the computer section of the University of Colombo and to forward a technical report on it.

The Child and Women's Authority of Kalutara Division are conducting further investigations on this matter.
