Chairman of Avant Garde challenges Minister Rajitha to prove bribe was offered
The Chairman of Avant Garde Major Nissanka Senadipathi had given an open challenge for anyone
to prove whether a bribe was offered to make any charges on the activities of the floating armoury Avant Garde and if that could be proved any such person could lodge a complaint against him at the Bribery and Corruption investigating unit in that regard.
The Minister Rajitha Senaratne had made this allegation and charge and when questioned, the Chairman of the Avant Garde.Major Nissanka Senadhipathi had said there was no attempt made to bury the allegations by offering bribes. These are tales do not fall into two rupee notes category. He had totally denied these allegations. He also had quipped that if there is anything anyone could file action though lawyers
What Minister Rajitha Senaratne needs is to go to courts with the allegations conveyed to him through his friends. The Chairman had said he does not want to poke his finger into Ministers family matters. There is no necessity for him.However these allegations are totally denied he had quipped.
