Basil questioned for 03 more hours

Basil Rajapaksa had been further questioned by the Colombo Financial Frauds Investigation unit today the 30th instant.

Police officials of the Colombo financial frauds investigation unit had visited the Merchant’s ward at the National hospital and recorded statements from him for more than 03 hours from 10.00am to 1.30 pm.

On the 22nd of this month he was questioned for 10 hours at the Colombo financial fraud investigation unit. They had called on the former Minister to take a further statement for them to prepare a ‘B’ report in connections with the investigations already commenced. This is in order to finalise the investigation report they had commenced.
