A youth a resident of Kobbewela area in

Gampola had entered through a window into a neighbour’s house through a window in to the room of a young mother who was sleeping with her two small kids at around 1 O’ clock in the night while her husband was sleeping in another room in the same house.

The youth had forcibly abused the young mother sexually and hearing the noise inside the room the husband had got up and come to watch what was happening. The youth in excitement had fled away sans his clothes.

A complaint was made at the Gampola police station. The police officers were able to detect the culprit through the police dog
