To appoint Dinesh as the Opposition Leader over 50 SLFP’s consented - Vasu

The Member of Parliament, Leader of the New Left Front Vasudeva Nanayakkara is behind the

move to make the Leader of the Mahajana Eksath Peramuna, Dinesh Gunawardena to be appointed as the Leader of the Opposition by displacing the present Leader of the Opposition Nimal Siripala de Silva.

In this connection he has obtained signatures of more than 50 SLFP Members of Parliament and is hoping to obtain more signatures and intends to hand over to the Speaker of the Parliament to take appropriated action.
