What m.p. Wimal Weeravansha had said yesterday was that underground drug dealer known as Wele Suda was nabbed
in Pakistan as a result of the cleverness of the net laid by the past government.

According to Wele Suda's confession, a young parliamentarian of Colombo District was involved in this drug dealing racket and referring to that statement spoken about by Police Spokesman, what Wimal once again said was that drug dealers should be sent to jail; but that he is against carrying out political revenge. This is how he said about it. "If according to the confession made by Wele Suda if anybody is involved in drug dealing in this country .... all of them should be sent to jail.  There's no argument about it. But, if someone is taking action by using statements falsely ...  to take political revenge; we are not in favour of such a thing".
