Modi promises to build a ‘rising village’ in Hambantota

Minister of housing, construction and samurdhi, Sajith Premadasa had received very positive

response from the India Prime Minister Narendra Modi as he had promised to him that his Indian government would construct a ‘rising village’ in the Hambantota district.

Sajith Premadasa had detailed the Indian Prime Minister on all work planned by his ministry and on hearing it Narendra Modi had retaliated saying that his proposed programme would really need the assistance from the Indian government.
