First phase of free WI- FI facility from Monday 

As promised to the people via the presidential election manifesto in the 100 day programme as

the first phase of this promise, Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe would open the first Wi-fi facility at the Fort Railway station premises and the surrounding at 9.30 a.m on Monday the 30th instant.

It is learnt that this  free Wi-fi facility would be extended through to many other places like other railway stations, bus stands, public libraries, base hospitals, teaching hospitals, parks, divisional secretariats, educational institutions, government offices and other places where people congregate. It is planned to extend this free facility to about 1000 places island wide.
