A driver has been arrested as a suspect in Ratgama PS Chairman’s murder

The main suspect in the killing of the Ratgama

Pradeshiya Saba 37 year old Chairman, Manoj Pushpakumara Mendis, was shot dead on the 23rd instant night at 11.45 p.m inside a hotel in Hikkaduwa. The main suspect  in this murder ’Podi Lassie’ is yet to be arrested.

However the media spokesman of the police ASP Ruwan Gunasekara has quipped that driver who had assisted relating to this incident has been arrested and is to be produced  at an identification parade very shortly.
