Maithri Rule is a bit complex but tasty

My life will be decided at the next voting - Paba

Tele-actress and parliament member Upeksha Swarnamali (Paba) who switched over to the Alliance after having contested at the past election under the UNP ticket, had said that she is preparing for the next
General Election.

The ideas expressed by her for a weekend newspaper recently is as follows:

What is your idea about the present political situation?

It is a good tendency for the government and the Opposition to work together. Four years ago when I decided to give support for the government, the leader of the Party was former President Mahinda Rajapaksa .... the President today is Maithripala Sirisena. 

Though the situation appears complex, I think it is tasty. The country has taken a big change .... no fear or suspicion in our hearts. The new independent commissions, the series of disciplinary policies for the politicians that are going to be implemented in the future .... I personally am in favour of those and like that concept..... 

What are your future hopes from the side of politics?

The next election will be a decisive landmark for me. Whatever its result is going to be .... I think my future life will be moulded according to that. These days, it is for that, that I have given priority.
