Maithreepala has stopped making Highways

Artiste Oshadi Hewamadduma too was among artistes who came forward to help former President Mahinda Rajapaksa win the last Presidential Election. There was also news that
she had hopes of contesting the General Elections, during the recent past.

Though certain artistes are hiding their faces after the election defeat these days, some others have not.

Oshadi and several other artistes came and made speeches at the meeting yesterday held at the Public Library Auditorium. What they said was that the public should take steps to bring back Mahinda.

Criticising the present government, what Oshadi said on that occasion was that development activities of the previous government have now come to a halt. This is what she said addressing the audience: "Now see .... the big projects started today have now stopped. After a Highway is stopped halfway .... these are the privileges that we have to face that have come to a halt. It is the privileges that our children have to enjoy in the future that we have made to lose".
