On a complaint received that wheels of a Lamborgini and a sea-plane aircraft were kept hidden in Carlton House, Tangalle of former President Mahinda Rajapaksha, a special team of police officers investigated this last evening at the said location.

It is learned that this investigation was conducted by

Weeraketiya Police on a warrant issued by Walasmulla Courts.

When police entered the house, it was understood that former President Mr. Mahinda Rajapaksha was not inside the house at that time and what he says is that prior to the investigations, the validity of the complaint should be established and those responsible should take steps to launch legal action against the complainants.

Under the prevailing circumstances he said that a situation has arisen where he is unable to visit a friend's house and it has come to a level where the police barge in to investigate their house no sooner he returns home.
