Former President explains through Twitter

The former President explained about rumours spreading around connected to an attempt to change the final results with an influence by the
armed forces at the last Presidential Elections. He has explained this across his Twitter account this morning.

What he says is that those are only false news that has been woven against him.

The former President has issued a message across his Twitter account this morning (13) and says that he rejects all such reports.

What he says is that he did not do such a thing and that he accepts the final result and therefore he bestows his wishes to President Maithreepala. He further says that he respects the decision of the people and that, defeat is something which he is familiar with.
