Several police transfers

On the approval and directive of the Secretary of the

Ministry of Public Order, a number of senior police officers have been transferred on service requirements. Among them are high ranking police officers who became the topic of discussion during Mahinda Rajapaksha regime. The list of transfers are as follows:

01. Mr. Anura Senanayaka to be transfered to position of Senior D.I.G. Police Headquarters -- Assistant Service.

02. Mr. Pujith Jayasundera to the position of Senior D.I.G. of Western Province from Northern Province.

03. Mr. Lalith Jayasinghe to the position of Senior D.I.G. to the Northern Province from Sabaragamuwa. He would be Acting Officer until a new Senior D.I.G. is installed.

01. Mr. Nandana Munasinghe would carry on duties as Acting Senior D.I.G. in Uva Province in addition to the Eastern Province.

02. Mr. D.D. Wickramaratne will carry on duties as Senior D.I.G. of Sabaragamuwa Province in addition to Southern Province. 

In addition to the aforementioned transfers, D.I.G. in charge of Jaffna District Mr. Ravi Waidyalankara has been called for special duties at Police Headquarters.
